Eran Davidson

President and CEO of Hasso Plattner Ventures

Born in Israel, moved to Berlin in 2005, when Prof. Hasso Plattner requested him to start and build the Venture Capital Fund Hasso Plattner Ventures, where Eran has since been President and CEO; he is also Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of Hasso Plattner Ventures Africa.

Eran‘s experience in Venture Capital early stage investments goes back to 1996, when he joined the Israeli venture fund Inventech VC as Vice President, playing an active role in taking it public in Tel Aviv stock exchange. Three years and five successful exits later – Nova, XTL, Radwiz, Visionix, Nogatech – Eran joined another Israeli fund, Eurofund 2000, as Managing Partner. Eurofund’s exits during and following Eran’s term include Verisity, Hotbar, Eldat, Passave, BeinSync and TEVET.

From 2002 to 2005 Eran served as CEO of ProSeed Capital Fund in Tel Aviv, leading the acquisition of TechnionTechnological Incubator, building a consortium of three international VCs and together with Technion Institute taking it to be the top-ranked Israeli Private Incubator.
