Tristan has more than 15 years of experience in creative and online business. After leading the design team of the IBM e-business Innovation Center, as art director, he specialized in online business, customer experience, online marketing and social media strategy.

Certified as Business Strategy Consultant and creative director within IBM interactive, he led online strategy engagements and acted as project manager for international website re-launch projects and digital channel transformation projects. He has wide industry knowledge, with special experiences in consumer electronics, media and entertainment, automotive, finance and retail.

Tristan has comprehensive technology knowledge in the area of web content management, portal, e-Commerce, mobile and social software. After 10 years in consulting, Tristan moved in 2010 to marketing and communications of IBM. He is marketing manager working with developers and ISVs, and managing the “IBM Global Entrepreneur Program” in Germany.

Dr. Thomas Jansen

Office Managing Partner

Thomas is Office Managing Partner of the Munich office and heads the German Intellectual Property and Technology group of DLA Piper. He specialises in advising German and international corporate clients on all kinds of contentious and non-contentious technology-related matters, with a focus on commercial IT contracts (including e-commerce and m-commerce), outsourcing agreements as well as knowhow and technology transfer agreements. He advises both suppliers and users on all forms of IT contracts, including software licence, software development and system integration agreements, reseller and distribution agreements and software and hardware support agreements.

Thomas also has extensive experience advising companies in the technology, media and commercial sectors on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, international and domestic joint ventures, strategic alliances and business partnerships.

Furthermore, Thomas is involved in all aspects of commercial contracts work including supply and services agreements, distribution and agency, joint ventures and many varied trading arrangements.

In addition to that, Thomas has special expertise in advising clients from various industries in product liability matters. He is a member of the German Computer Law Association.

Alexander Galitsky is a Managing Partner of Almaz Capital Partners and Skolkovo Board Member, well-known innovator, entrepreneur and investor in Russia, in USA and Europe, President of the first Russian TechTour 2004.

Prior to co-founding of Almaz Capital Partners in 2008 with Cisco Systems and UFG Asset Management, Alexander formed the Information and Communications Technology investment practice at Russian
Technologies, one of the first venture capital funds in Russia.

Prior to his investment career, he founded and led as CEO five successful companies in the software, communications, semiconductor, internet and security sectors. Alexander has also been an individual investor and advisory/board member for a number of companies, including Magnifire (now F5, Nasdaq: FFIV), Parallels,Start-Telecom; NavMaps (now TeleAtlas), Acronis, S-Terra and PGP Inc. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Alexander served as one of the top Technical Executives for the Soviet Space industry.

He has over 30 patents for numerous inventions, including parallel processing, WiFi and VPN Security technologies. Alexander was honored as the most influential person in the Russian IT and Internet industry, and named „Technology Pioneer“ at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2000. He earned PhD in Computer Science from joint authority of Defense Research Institute and MIPT.

Clark Parsons

Managing Director Berlin School of Creative Leadership USA

Clark is the Managing Director of the Berlin School, with special focus on marketing, communications and strategy. A native of Alabama in the U.S., he began his career as a newspaper journalist (Daily Variety, The Tennessean, Nashville Banner, Nashville Scene) and later editor-in-chief of a city magazine (Nashville Life). He was awarded a Robert Bosch Fellowship in 1997 and moved to Germany for a year of work in the Film & TV Division of the German state of North Rhine-Westfalia’s Ministry of Post & Telecom. He then had a Bosch Fellowship stage at the Berliner newspaper Der Tagesspiegel.

After deciding to extend his year long stay in Germany (for 13 years and counting), Clark worked as a media Project Manager for the Industrial Investment Council of the New German States, advising foreign Internet companies and broadcasters locating in Berlin such as eBay and the Einstein Channel. After some time as a broadcast media consultant at KPMG/BearingPoint and as Country Manager for an IT business development network, he co-founded Vortel GmbH, a VoIP-telephony company that was later sold to Inter.Net Germany.

Connecting Start ups and existing businesses with experts, international investors and partners, Recopro.com – A franchise involved in after fire & water damage cleaning and reconstruction and Recosy – A mobile app and field service management software (in development).

He is also a partner at IntelImpact, A market and intelligence product. Julian‘s past work experience includes Biotech, Film and TV production, Product Placement, Media and Event Management.

Sascha Schubert, co-founded Spendino in 2008. spendino is a leading provider of online donor management software. With spendino nonprofits can easily and effectively raise funds and manage relations.

Sacha is also co-founder of bondea (2006), the no earnings but learning’s Start Up in his entrepreneurial career.

He serves on the board of Entrepreneurs’ Club Berlin and is one of the Organizers of StartUp Camp Berlin and Failcon Berlin.
